Momentum advised the shareholders of Lab-Concept GmbH (“Lab-Concept“) on the acquisition of shares by the Köttermann Group – a portfolio company of the international private equity firm BHM Group.
Lab-Concept, based in Kempten, Germany, is a renowned engineering and manufacturing company that develops, produces and distributes infrastructure solutions for laboratories and well known for its innovative, intelligent and high-quality products and services.
The wide range of services offered by Lab-Concept includes, among others, the structured conception and detailed planning of projects, as well as the production and installation of the developed products, such as media ceilings, media columns and media bridges for the design of flexible and variable laboratories. In doing so, Lab-Concept focuses on innovation and customer satisfaction. Lab-Concept’s customers include chemical and pharmaceutical companies as well as universities and research institutes.
The Köttermann Group is a leading global manufacturer of innovative laboratory furniture solutions. BHM Group is a private equity firm specializing in investing in European life science and health care technology companies with unique expertise and products.
Joachim Masurek, CFO and Commercial Director of Lab-Concept, has played a key role in coordinating and supporting the transaction. All shareholders of Lab-Concept, as well as its managing partner Konrad Kreuzer, will remain with the company.
