Momentum advised the shareholders of Vertoura Versicherungsmakler GmbH & Co. KG (“Vertoura“), a provider of complex insurance solutions for tourism companies, on the acquisition by the leading German industry broker MRH Trowe.

Vertoura offers solutions for all insurance issues relating to tourism companies, in particular cruise operators, packagers and dynamic or traditional tour operators. Vertoura takes into account the special features of its customers’ business models and thus – in conjunction with the companies’ risk management – achieves the individual requirements of the desired coverage.

MRH Trowe is one of the ten largest German industrial brokers. With comprehensive expertise in all lines of insurance, MRH Trowe offers insurance solutions for industrial and commercial customers, institutions and exclusive private customers. With around 1,200 employees in specialized teams and a high degree of digitalization, MRH Trowe manages a premium volume of more than EUR 650 million.

By partnering with Vertoura, MRH Trowe is strengthening its position in advising and insuring tourism companies, expanding its market access in addition to its existing activities and taking a further step on its consistent growth path.

The experienced and renowned insurance expert and Vertoura founder Sven Harth will remain with Vertoura as Managing Director.
