Momentum advises Seventure Partners in the context of the investment in FLEXVELOP GmbH
Momentum advised Seventure Partners (“Seventure”) as lead investor alongside other investors (4Tree Capital, Innovationsstarter Fonds Hamburg and four Business Angels) on an investment in FLEXVELOP GmbH FLEXVELOP GmbH (“Flexvelop”) as part of a Seed B financing round in the total amount of EUR 3 mio.
The B2B fintech Flexvelop rents new equipment to companies flexibly and sustainably via digitalized processes. This allows commercial customers to initially rent equipment (such as notebooks, cell phones, coffee machines, tools, etc.) and flexibly decide later whether they want to buy or return the respective equipment. Flexvelop assumes the full investment risk so that the companies’ balance sheets are not burdened and the companies can achieve effective tax savings and thus optimize their liquidity and cash flow. In this regard, Flexvelop cooperates with retailers such as expert, notebooksbilliger.de and WMF and and is already a recommended payment option for Traders.
Seventure Partners is a long-term equity investor that actively supports innovative companies with a positive impact on people, society, sustainability and the planet. With EUR 950 mio in assets under management (as of end 2021), Seventure is one of the leading venture capital firms in Europe. Since 1997, Seventure has been investing in innovative companies with high growth potential in two main areas: Life Sciences (such as Health & Digital Health, Foodtech, Blue Economy, Livestock & Agriculture, Sports & Wellness) in Europe, Israel, Asia and North America and Digital Technologies (such as FinTech, RetailTech) in Europe. Investments range from EUR 500 thousand to EUR 10 mio per round and up to EUR 20 mio per company.
Flexvelop will use the investment to expand into additional online stores and partner retailers, to grow its team from the current ten employees to about 20 in 2023, and to further develop its in-house technical solution.
