Momentum advises oekostrom Produktions GmbH on the purchase of wind farm project Bultensee from Energiekontor AG

oekostrom Produktions GmbH (“oekostrom”) and Energiekontor AG have signed a binding agreement on the acquisition of the project company planning the wind farm Bultensee.

The Bultensee wind farm project consists of a wind turbine manufactured by Nordex with a generating capacity of 3.6 MW and is being built in the German state of Bremen. The wind farm is expected to produce more than 7.5 GWh of electricity annually. This amount of electricity is sufficient to meet the annual electricity needs of about 2,500 average German households. The wind farm is currently under construction, with planned commissioning in summer 2023.

oekostrom is an Austrian subsidiary of oekostrom AG für Energieerzeugung und -handel (“oekostrom AG”). oekstrom AG as producer and provider of electricity set itself a goal to solely utilize renewable energy sources and actively contribute to the decarbonization of the energy production.

With this transaction, oekostrom AG will expand its power plant portfolio in Germany and thus actively contribute to the success of the energy transition and the goal of a renewable and independent energy future.
