Momentum advises the sole shareholder of GUME GmbH on the sale of the company as part of a succession solution
Munich / Ostermünchen, 28 October 2025: Momentum has provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to the sole shareholder of GUME GmbH in connection with the company’s sale as part of a succession solution.
GUME GmbH is a well-established medium-sized company based in Ostermünchen with a history of more than 35 years. The company develops and manufactures high-quality rubber moulded and composite parts for customers in the medical technology, mechanical and plant engineering, and electrical industries.
As part of the succession process, the company was sold to an acquisition vehicle held by entrepreneurs Marius Maier and Michael Obermeyer. The new shareholders aim to combine GUME’s longstanding expertise and craftsmanship with fresh impulses in the areas of digitalization, process optimization, marketing, and sales to drive the company’s continued development.
The transaction ensures the company’s ongoing stability and sustainable future growth. With the sale, the previous owner passes GUME into trusted hands and lays the foundation for the next phase of the company’s growth.
Momentum provided comprehensive support to the seller in structuring, negotiating, and implementing the transaction, as well as on all corporate and tax-related matters. The successful completion of the succession process was achieved in close collaboration with Roland Greppmair (KERN-Unternehmensnachfolge), who initiated the process and advised the seller throughout the transaction.
