Momentum advises Hi Inov on the Series A Investment in Kenjo
Momentum once again advised Hi Inov, in this case in the context of a EUR 8.8m Series A financing round in Kenjo GmbH (“Kenjo“). Besides Hi Inov as lead investor, Lightbird Ventures and Innovation Nest, as well as existing investors (such as Redalpine and The Delta) participated in the funding. Wolfgang Krause, Managing Partner at Hi Inov, joins the advisory board of Kenjo.
Kenjo’s founders have developed an all-in-one HR software that facilitates HR administrative tasks and compliance with international labour law regulations. Kenjo’s solutions are focused on streamlining key HR processes such as time tracking, leave and absence management, shift scheduling, payroll, data analytics and performance evaluation. Kenjo currently has offices in Madrid, Berlin and Zurich, a client portfolio of more than 1,000 companies and plans to double its workforce from the current level of nearly 70 employees in the coming months.
With the funding, Kenjo plans to position itself as a market leader in HR software for small and medium-sized blue collar companies in sectors such as manufacturing, retail, transport, logistics and healthcare, to develop its existing and new products, and to further strengthen Kenjo’s presence in Europe, particularly in the DACH region.
