Comments on the transaction
“Knowledge management remains one of the biggest hurdles to successful processes and decisions,” says Sara Jourdan, CEO and co-founder of Genow. “Many employees spend 20 to 30 percent of their time every day searching for information in unstructured data sets.”
“With Genow, we are investing in a team that has developed a scalable solution to one of the central problems of knowledge work based on excellent research,” says Sebastian Schnell of BMH. “Wingman impresses with its technological depth, practical relevance and high market potential.”
“We see a lot of start-up activity in this promising market, but few understand the needs of large corporations as well as this team. After an impressive bootstrapping phase, we are excited to see what they will achieve with these new financial opportunities.” – Felix Assion, Investment Manager HTGF
“The Genow founding team impressed us with its combination of technological expertise and strategic vision. With Wingman, Genow is setting new standards in the handling of corporate knowledge – we see great future potential here and are delighted to be part of this journey.” – Markus Becker and Sebastian Mönnich, Business Angels
Philipp Weber, Venture Capital & Private Equity Partner at Momentum adds: “We are delighted to have once again supported a deep tech start-up from TU Darmstadt in a financing round. This shows once again how great investor interest in high-tech and deep tech start-ups continues to be.”
